Kenyan artistes Bien, Okello Max set to perform at UEFA Champions League final watch party in Nairobi

The excitement is building as Heineken gears up to host a grand viewing party for the UEFA Champions League Final, set to take place at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi on 1st June. The event promises to be spectacular, combining the thrill of Europe’s elite football competition with live performances from Kenya’s top artistes Bien Baraza and Okello Max.

The UEFA Champions League season culminates on Saturday, 1 June, with a final match between one time champion Borrusia Dortmund and 14 time champions Real Madrid at Wembley Stadium in London. This marks the 69th season of Europe’s top-tier club competition and the 32nd since its rebranding to the UEFA Champions League. As football fans worldwide tune in, Heineken is ensuring that Kenyan football enthusiasts can experience the excitement in a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

The viewing party will feature headlining performances by Bien Baraza and Okello Max. Bien, who is a renowned songwriter, musician, and vocalist from the former boy band Sauti Sol, is sure to electrify the audience with his soulful voice and captivating stage perfomane. Again, Okello Max, who boasts a unique Dholuo musical flavor is set to bring a rich cultural sound that resonates deeply with fans.

The event will be anchored by prominent Kenyan media personalities and entertainers. 10 over 10 show host on Citizen TV Azeezah, also known as Media Mesiah, will be one of the hosts. She will be joined by Kerry Martin, a radio show host and digital creator, and MC Mlami Mwitu, a popular content creator with a knack for captivating audiences.

A long list of DJs will keep the energy high with a mix of beats and tunes. Will DJ, DJ Kronikx, and DJ Dii (Khadija Musa), one of Kenya’s top female DJs, will be spinning the decks. They will be joined by DJ Tone, DJ Kalisouth, Dylan-S, a producer and DJ from Nairobi and Suraj, a producer and DJ who blends contemporary electronic music with traditional cultural elements.

Heineken’s UEFA Champions League Final Viewing Party promises an unforgettable night of football, music, and celebration. Fans will enjoy the match on big screens while soaking in live performances from some of Kenya’s most beloved artists. Tickets will be going for ksh. 2,000 shillings.
