Inger Mwanaisha Abdalla, widely known as Nyota Ndogo in the entertainment scene, recently faced criticism on social media regarding her newborn son’s complexion.
The celebrated artist joyfully welcomed her son into the world in February 2024, sharing a heartwarming photo of the newborn.
However, her elation was overshadowed by concerns about potential accusations of infidelity due to her child’s skin tone.
In a candid post, Nyota humorously addressed the issue, expressing her joy at her child’s arrival while acknowledging the likelihood of unfounded rumors.
She playfully attributed her son’s complexion to his preference for inheriting his father’s silky hair, quipping, “Welcome home my child… But this color, they will say I cheated on my husband… I mean, you’ve decided to take after your father’s hair but this color is ours.”
Despite her attempts to brush off the criticism, Nyota Ndogo was visibly distressed in a recent update as she addressed the hurtful comments from online followers.
“I do not know why people online insult others. I don’t know whether such people know the impact trolls have on people’s lives. I am not usually moved by trolls, but a recent comment about my child has angered me because someone said I cheated on my husband, that is why our child did not get his color. The father is not bothered about the color of my child. In fact, he is happy that he got an African child. Social media trolls have affected me so much,” she tearfully revealed.
Nyota Ndogo’s relationship with her Danish husband, Henning Nielsen, has often been scrutinized due to their noticeable age gap. Married since May 2016, the couple has faced criticism, with Nyota defiantly embracing their love despite societal judgment.
Born on January 3, 1981, the singer has consistently defended her relationship, openly expressing her affection for her husband, who recently celebrated his 60th birthday.
