Muranga’ Seal coach Vincent Nyaberi confident of upsetting Shabana in crucial title showdown

Murang’a Seal’s head coach Vincent Nyaberi exudes confidence as his team prepares for a high-stakes encounter against Shabana FC in the National Super League.

The match, set to be held at St Sebastian Park in Murang’a on Sunday, July 2, holds significant importance for both teams, especially Shabana, who sit atop the standings with a five-point lead over Murang’a.

With just two matches remaining in the season, a draw for Shabana would secure them the second-tier league title with a game to spare.

However, Coach Nyaberi is determined to upset their rivals and keep the championship race alive until the final day.

Murang’a Seal has been in exceptional form, having not lost a single match in their last 17 outings, with only three draws marring their record.

Shabana FC, on the other hand, has been untouchable this season, boasting an 11-match unbeaten run, with ten wins under their belt.

Their recent victory against Darajani Gogo by a comfortable margin of 3-1 only reinforces their dominant form.

However, Murang’a Seal’s resilience and determination to secure all three points cannot be underestimated.

“The match against Shabana is very crucial and important for us. We have prepared well as we hope to bag all three points on Sunday,” coach Vincent Nyaberi emphasized, his confidence evident in his words.

Nyaberi is no stranger to the pressures of such critical matches, having previously served as part of the coaching staff at Shabana FC.

His knowledge of the club’s strengths and weaknesses could provide valuable insights to Murang’a Seal as they strategize to outwit their opponents.

“We are targeting three points on Sunday to push the title race to the wire. We have two matches against Shabana and Gusii FC, and all is not lost. At the moment, our focus is to win the crucial match against Shabana for the title to be decided on the last day,” Nyaberi added, highlighting the team’s determination and refusal to concede defeat.

Murang’a Seal will enter the match following a 1-1 draw against Kibera Black Stars, a result that further fuels their hunger for victory.

As they face the formidable Shabana FC, Murang’a Seal will rely on their solid defense and well-structured gameplay to break Shabana’s unbeaten streak and close the gap in the title race.
