Home Counties Kalonzo tells off Muthama again

Kalonzo tells off Muthama again

Wiper Party leader and former vice-president Kalonzo Musyoka yesterday told off Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama over his rebuke of smaller parties within Ukambani region.

Mr. Musyoka critized Muthama for calling on voters to reject aspirants who will contest for posts using other parties founded in Ukambani other than Wiper.

“I want to correct Senator Muthama here on the issue of those other parties … We all belong to the same family as they also have the right to exist,” he said.

He was speaking at a burial service of the former paramount chief Savano Maveke in Matungulu constituency.

Addressing the mourners earlier, Muthama had urged voters to reject leaders running for election on other parties and only vote for Wiper candidates.

This is the second time that Kalonzo is publicly telling off Muthama. During a Wiper caravan on Mombasa Road last year, Kalonzo told off Muthama after he dismissed other Ukambani parties publicly.
