Azeezah Hashim, popularly known as Azeezah in the media world, has stirred conversations with her candid remarks on polygamous marriage.
In an exclusive interview with Silva Kido during the Arbantone Launch Festival, Azeezah shared her unconventional viewpoint, shedding light on her openness to embracing a polygamous relationship.
With a refreshingly pragmatic approach, Azeezah expressed her willingness to consider being a second wife, citing a desire for peace of mind as a primary reason.
“Mimi sina shida na kua mke wa pili kiukweli…wanasema naturally, I’d rather be at peace knowing kama hayuko kwa fatuma ako kwa kwangu rather than stressing na media kila siku,” she remarked.
For Azeezah, the prospect of being aware of her husband’s whereabouts, even if he’s not with her, outweighs the uncertainties and anxieties often associated with traditional monogamous relationships.
Avoiding unnecessary stress and focusing on maintaining tranquility in her life, Azeezah sees polygamy as a viable option that aligns with her values.
“The setup works for me because their culture allows them to marry more than one wife, and she wouldn’t want to add her husband to her stressful long list of things she needs to worry about,” the award-winning media personality explained.
Despite currently being single, Azeezah hinted at receiving attention from potential suitors who are vying for her affection.
With a hint of playful intrigue, she acknowledged the interest while maintaining her stance on the qualities she seeks in a partner.
“As far as am concerned sina pete mkononi but kuna wale contenders wanafanya vile inatakikana,” she shared, suggesting that she remains open to exploring romantic connections.
When it comes to the qualities she desires in a man, Azeezah emphasized the importance of hard work, composure, and ambition.
“You must be hardworking sana sana, uwe calm na usikue kwenye limelight……mwanaume wangu ani inspire pia mimi nitoke kwa nduthi nipate gari niseme babe wangu ana Range wacha pia mimi nitie bidii nipate yangu,” she articulated.
