AFC Leopards reveal amount collected in Shabana clash

The club made roughly ksh 1.4 million from ticket sales

AFC Leopards have finally disclosed the amount that was collected from ticket sales during the Football Kenya Federation Premier League clash between them and Shabana that was played on Sunday at Ulinzi Sports Complex in a match that Ingwe went digital in ticketing.

 

The attendance was positive just like in recent Tore Bobe matches with the hype before the match appearing to have yielded fruits with fans thronging the stadium to catch up the enticing match.

Leopards have now made known the figured from the thrilling match. A total of 6,152 tickets were sold with a bulk of them being the regular once that went for Ksh 200. 653 VIP tickets, each trading at Ksh. 500 were sold.

From the terrace’s tickets, the team got a whopping Ksh 1,099,800 while the VIP match pass yielded Ksh 326,500. In total the team got Ksh 1,426,300.

The was the highest turn out witnessed since the start of the season attributed to the high turnout fans of the league newbies Shabana FC.

The Leopards will be back in action on Saturday with a match against arch rivals Gor Mahia at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani.

Ingwe are expected to carry on with digital ticketing in the upcoming Mashemeji Derby and urge their fans to get their match passes early for easy verification.
