A viral video of a woman crying uncontrollably outside her boyfriend’s house after finding him with another woman has been making rounds on social media.
The video sparked outrage among netizens who expressed sympathy for the woman, whose identity was initially unknown.
The woman, identified as Wangari, has since shared her side of the story. According to her, she had intended to surprise her boyfriend, Kevo, by visiting him unannounced since the following day was his birthday. Wangari’s mother had given her some items to carry with her, and she had taken them with her in a sack to Kevo’s house, where she was to spend a few days.
Upon arrival at Kevo’s house, she found some ladies’ high heels outside the door, indicating that another woman was inside. Her cries and attempts to knock on the door were futile, and she had no choice but to spend the night at a friend’s house.
In the interview, Wangari revealed that she did not feel the need to inform Kevo of her visit beforehand since they had been in a long-distance relationship for five years and were used to each other. However, she was shocked to find another woman in his house, which was a clear indication that their relationship was not as strong as she had thought.
Kenyans on twitter had expressed their disappointment with Kevo for cheating on Wangari and causing her such immense pain.
