Kipnyaango Kiplangat Langat’s girlfriend, Sharon, a student at Ndarawetta Technical Training Institute in Bomet county, has shared a chilling detail about the night of his death.
She disclosed that she heard his phone ringing outside the door after she refused to let him in earlier.
Their relationship had soured after Kiplangat discovered Sharon’s infidelity, leading to a heartbreaking end to what was once a promising union.
 After the tragic death, Bomet Central police boss Musa Imamai emphasized the need for clergy to provide psychosocial support to individuals facing relationship issues.
“It’s a stark reminder of the silent battles many individuals fight behind closed doors. We never really known the extend of someone’s troubles no matter how much we think we known them,” he said.
Elvis Kipsang, a close friend, recalled Kiplangat’s kind-hearted nature, expressing disbelief that he resorted to such drastic measures.
