Positivity rate at 14.3pc as Covid-19 cases soar

Covid-19 positivity rate stood at 14.3pc Friday with new 502 cases recorded according to the latest data by the Ministry of Health.

From the cases which were derived from a sample size of 3,503 tested in the last 24 hours, 261 are males and 241 are females.

Nairobi leads with 286 followed by Kiambu 37, Nyeri 31, Machakos 19, Murang’a and Siaya 18 cases each, Kilifi 15, Nakuru 13, and Kericho 11.
