Doctors across the country have launched a major strike that has left health operations at hospitals across the country paralyzed. This follows the expiring of a 21-day strike notice they issued on November 14.
According to the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU), the government had dishonoured a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) they signed in June 2013.
