Kenyan celebrity and businesswoman Michelle Ntalami has made public her decision to give her life to Christ, detailing the deeply personal journey that led her to this spiritual transformation. Ntalami who has been a proud LGBTQ+ member in the past, has recounted in an emotional Instagram post, a life-changing encounter with God on August 21 2023, which she described as the greatest gift she has ever received.
Ntalami who is known for her successful ventures in beauty business and a vibrant public persona, revealed that despite her professional accomplishments, she was carrying a heavy heart, wounded by various human experiences. This emotional toll, particularly as an empath, became overwhelming last year, leading her to a moment of desperate surrender where she questioned the existence of God.
“One night, in total surrender, I cried out to God, questioning His existence,” she wrote. “In an instant, I felt the most overpowering rush of love and light engulf me! A thunderous, beautiful voice called my name ‘Mitchelle’ three times. He blinded me and threw me to the floor. In that moment, I knew I was in the presence of the Lord!”
This divine encounter, Ntalami says, included visions and conversations with God that she feels are beyond words. It marked a pivotal moment in her life, making her to seek God’s favor and dedicate her influence and efforts to spreading His word.
“I have done my fair share of publicity for myself, others, and brands. But today, I do it for the Lord Jesus Christ,” Ntalami declared. She explained that her recent absence from social media and public controversies was due to a period of isolation and sanctification by God. This period lasted exactly nine months, aligning with God’s guidance on when she should reemerge.
“God isolated and sanctified me to this day. Hence my absence on social media. He even guided me on when to go out into the world—exactly nine months today. Indeed, ‘When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.'”
As she steps into this new chapter, Ntalami has deleted all her past photos and posts, and said on her Instagram that her social media presence will now serve to glorify God. She invited her followers and even her critics to join her on this spiritual journey, promising to use her platform to spread the gospel and share her testimony.
“Since that day, my life has never been the same. God healed my heart and set me free. I’ve experienced a peace like no other. I’m not perfect. Walking with Christ is a journey. I was a sinner, saved by the blood of Jesus. And my past life is a true testimony to this.”

“What’s different about me? A lot. First, I fully gave my life to Jesus! Second, everything I do in my life, including all my influence on social media, will all be for the glory of God. Third, I will be on fire for God because He was on fire for me! So may I decrease as he increases? And as one of the visions He gave me, may my story save souls and touch the world.” She said.
