This decision, though challenging, has proven to be incredibly rewarding for her.

In her Instagram post, Karwirwa expressed profound gratitude for reaching this milestone and acknowledged the unwavering support she received from her family, friends, and professors. “How can I ever look at my life and not be grateful?” she wrote, reflecting on her journey with a humble heart and deep appreciation for the Almighty. She especially thanked her dissertation supervisor, Dr. Sarah Howcutt, for her guidance and support.

Karwirwa’s departure from Citizen TV was an emotional one. During her farewell episode, her parents surprised her by showing up at the studio, a gesture that brought her to tears. Her mother encouraged her to represent her family and country well in London, while her father expressed gratitude to Citizen TV for nurturing Karwirwa’s talents over the past three years.

Karwirwa pursued a Master’s in Public Health at Oxford Brookes University, a journey she has described as both challenging and fulfilling. Her academic achievements are a testament to her dedication and the support system that stood by her throughout. “To my loving family, my dear friends, and my amazingly involved and brilliant professors – this one is for you too, for I truly couldn’t have done it without you,” she added in her post.

Her faith has been a cornerstone of her journey, with Karwirwa noting, “I continue to believe in the God of every season, who is with me every step of my life. I’m testament to His provision, His sustenance, His grounding power, and abundant grace.” She celebrated her achievement with immense gratitude, stating, “Today, I’m celebrating exceedingly, abundantly, more than I could ever have asked, thought, or imagined. I’m so happy and deeply grateful. He has done me well.”
