Court frees suspect found in possession of arms cache

A man arrested after being found in possession of deadly weapons and ammunition in a house in Kilimani area, Nairobi County has been freed.

Ken Lugwili was arraigned at the Kahawa Law Courts in Kiambu Friday and released on a Ksh 300,000 cash bail.

The DCI sleuths who arrested the suspect Tuesday night recovered 22 firearms and 565 rounds of ammunition.

Chief Magistrate Diana Mochache dismissed a petition by the prosecution seeking to detain him for five days to complete investigations…
