NRG Radio has lost yet another prominent voice with the departure of ShaqtheYungin, formally known as Shaquille O’Neill Oduk.
The presenter announced his resignation on Tuesday after a six-year tenure with the station.
In a heartfelt message, ShaqtheYungin expressed his deep appreciation for the opportunity to work at NRG Radio, thanking the management, his colleagues, and the loyal listeners who have tuned in over the years.
“After 6 years working at NRG Radio, I hereby announce my resignation from the company. I am grateful for the opportunity given to me by the management. I bid farewell to my colleagues, management, and most importantly to the fans who have tuned in every day for the last 6 years while I was on air. As I look forward to the next step in my career, I hope and pray for new opportunities that will come my way and ask for your support,” ShaqtheYungin stated.
Although he confirmed that he is preparing for a new opportunity, he remained tight-lipped about what his next career move entails.
“Don’t guess where I’m going, I’m the only one that knows! See you in a bit, we outside,” he added.
ShaqtheYungin’s exit follows the departure of two other major presenters, Mwalimu Rachel and DJ Xclusive, who left the station in March after also serving for six years.
The duo, who hosted a popular show together, transitioned to new roles at the Radio Africa Group.
