The Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKF-PL) is back in action on Wednesday with four exciting fixtures to look forward to.
The highlight of the day will be the top-of-the-table clash between leaders Gor Mahia and second-placed Nzoia Sugar at the Sudi Stadium in Bungoma.
Gor Mahia, who lead the FKF-PL log on 37 points from 17 matches, are hoping to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Mathare United in their previous match. However, they face a daunting task against Nzoia Sugar, who are unbeaten at home this season and are just four points behind Gor in the league standings.
Another exciting fixture to watch will be the match between AFC Leopards and Wazito at the Nyayo Stadium. AFC Leopards will be looking to avenge their controversial 2-1 loss to Wazito in January and climb up the league table. Wazito, on the other hand, are second from bottom and will be hoping to upset their more illustrious opponents.
Meanwhile, Sofapaka will take on Mathare United in an early kick-off at the MISC Kasarani Stadium. Sofapaka are currently in fifth place and will be looking to close the gap on the teams above them with a win. Mathare United, who stunned Gor Mahia in their last match, will be hoping to build on that performance and climb up the table.
Finally, Vihiga Bullets will face Posta Rangers at the Bukhungu Stadium. Both teams are struggling this season and will be hoping to turn their fortunes around with a win.
