Youth have come out to defend President William Ruto and his support for 2027 re-election bid as the the president of Kenya for the second term.
During a press briefing the youth noted that, lately, they have seen some really troubling scenes where young people are being used and stirred up to create chaos and disorder throughout the country. As Youth for Ruto 2027, we strongly condemn these actions. We refuse to let a handful of misguided individuals undo the hard-earned progress that the youth of this nation have achieved through years of sacrifice, dedication, and hard work towards national development.
Youth for Ruti 2027 is a national youth movement dedicated to supporting President William Samoei Ruto and protecting the advancements made under his leadership. We stand firmly behind the President, who has recently shared that he sometimes feels isolated in his mission to transform Kenya. We acknowledge the many positive changes he has initiated—some of which haven’t received the recognition they truly deserve—and we are committed to standing by him.
This movement is set to play a crucial role in uniting young people across the nation, not just to support the President but also to shield our country from any forces that aim to throw it into chaos. We believe in peace, unity, and progress, and we urge all young people to reject violence and join us in building a brighter future for Kenya.
We’re excited to announce that we will officially launch the Youth for Ruto 2027 movement on June 25th at Nyayo Stadium. We’re actively coordinating with the Office of the Deputy President, Professor Kithure Kindiki and several prominent leaders from the UDA party have been invited to join us.
We invite all peace-loving youth to come together with us. United, we will create a strong, peaceful, and focused youth bloc that will defend the presidency and advocate for meaningful development across the nation.
