Despite his already impressive salary, it is noteworthy that Wanyama took a substantial pay cut of Sh14.7 million per month to extend his contract with CF Montreal.
Nevertheless, his annual earnings of Sh247.3 million firmly establish him as the highest paid footballer not only in Kenya but also at CF Montreal.
