Stop rushing me! Karen Nyamu reacts to fan after referring to Samidoh as ‘boyfriend’

Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has responded to a fan who queried her after labelling Mugithi kingpin Samuel Muchoki aka Samidoh as her boyfriend instead of her husband.

Nyamu shared a post on her socials telling her fans that things in her love life had started getting thicker despite them warning her a while back.

She wrote, “I have asked my boyfriend why he is taking so long to reply and he has told me that he is a stammerer.” The post ignited some discussion with one of her fans asking, “How is he not your husband yet she left him for you?”

Nyamu swiftly responded with, “Stop rushing me.”

Another fan also jumped into the post and told her, “Wait until he gets the real one back, you will be seeing us and moving in a different direction,” To which she replied and said, “Even when we were giving birth she was there. Let her come back so we continue from where we had left off.”

In early May, Samidoh’s wife Edday Nderitu moved to the US with their three children after constantly maintaining that she would not raise her children in a polygamous family.

Subsequently, a post on her socials in July would confirm her stance. She wrote, “I am not in any polygamous marriage as stated I left the husband for whoever needed him more. I made a decision to remove myself and my kids from that toxic environment especially my teen daughter who unfortunately is the direct recipient of unbelievable behaviour displayed.”

Previously, Nyamu expressed her hopes for a resolution that benefits all parties in the romantic saga involving her, Samidoh, and Edday.

She said, “We have not given up on the other side (Edday), and we are hoping things will work out on the other side since there is no joy. As much as I am happy that my children have their dad, I am with the man I love, which is not as good as it would be if the other side (Edday) was also there. We are all believers, and we know our situations are in safe hands.”
