Actress Esther Chebet, alias Star Chebet, recently sparked mixed reactions after sharing a series of cryptic messages on her social media pages.
Chebet who is synonymous with The Real Househelps of Kawangware (TRHK) shared the disturbing messages on her Instagram and Facebook pages concerns about her well-being.
The actress who recently opened up about her mental health struggles noted that her life has been on a rough patch lately hence her social media absence.
Chebet alleged that she got into wrong rituals while seeking peace of mind, and apologised to those whom she has wronged.
“Hey guys, its been a long while since i posted here, but life has been moving too fast. I don’t know if I’ll be okay by the end of the day, but I got myself into something I can’t really reverse
“Life is spiritual and I think I tapped into the wrong realms in my search for peace of mind and tapped into the wrong energies. For those I have wronged, I ask for your forgiveness,” she wrote on Facebook.
In a separate post, Chebet added that she cannot get herself out of the situation that she is in and asked for prayers.
“I was used to open a portal on Kimugu river in Kericho and got initiated into something I didn’t expect. I didn’t know what was happening until it happened. Life is spiritual, and spirits get into conflicts subconsciously sometimes. I’m on my way to Nakuru, and the way this car is moving. My instincts tell me all will not be well,” she added.

In November 2023, Chebet discussed her two-weeks stay at a mental health institution shedding light on her battle with depression and anxiety.
In an interview, the actress explained that she ended up hospitalized after experiencing migraines for four consecutive days.
“I was admitted to a mental hospital for two weeks. I did not go willingly. I got migraines for four days consecutively. My family asked me to go get checked. I would be treated, fed, and just rest. It was an institution where people just wanted to maintain some mental sanity,” she said.
She mentioned that the facility aimed to provide individuals with a supportive environment to preserve mental well-being.
Earlier, Chebet had cautioned people against feeling entitled to other people to the extent of dictating how someone should look like and even live their life.
Using herself as an example, she recounted how when her body started changing and she gained weight, everyone and their relatives had something to say about it.
She narrated that it had gotten to the extent of people leaving her mean and insulting DM’s without a clue in the world what was going on in her space.
Chebet reminded netizens that just because someone is the public eye doesn’t mean they are less human before she went on to speak about how losing her mother completely devastated her leading to the weight gain that some people were so mean about.
“For those people who feel entitled to my space… those comments and messages would have gotten to the old me. Like kitambo I would have crumbled under that but right now no. To body shamers, you don’t know what someone is going through so shame on you! And it is high time you change your ways,” she said.
