Shock as Man Hacks His Father to Death, Only to End Up Posting His Father’s Severed Head on YouTube

A US citizen and YouTube content creator, Justin Mohn of Middletown, Pennsylvania, was charged with the first-degree murder of his father on Wednesday, January 31.

The Bucks County court accused the 32-year-old of homicide, abuse of a corpse, and possession of a weapon of crime, leading the judge to order him to remain in custody, as stated by the district attorney’s office.

Mohn was arrested after allegedly beheading his father and uploading a video on YouTube showcasing the severed head. The shocking video was taken down after accumulating over 5,000 views, according to CNN reports.

In the video, Mohn claimed to be a militia leader, condemning his father, who worked in the federal government, as a traitor, as reported by NBC News.

The arrest followed the discovery of Mohn’s father decapitated in their family home. Mohn was denied bail and continues to be held in accordance with the Bucks County court order.

These murders occur amid a significant surge in political violence in the United States since the 1970s, according to a Reuters investigation last year, with this case involving anti-government sentiments and criticism of the Biden administration.
