The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has gazetted names of candidates who will vie for various positions in the August 9th, 2022 General Election. Conspicuously missing from the list is Mike Sonko’s name. Sonko is eyeing the Mombasa gubernatorial position on a Wiper ticket. The name of embattled Nairobi Gubernatorial hopeful Johnson Sakaja seat is in the list.
