Nelly Jepchirchir and Brenda Chebet won their respective semi final rounds to advance to the finals of the women’s 800m race at the ongoing World Under 20 national athletics trials at Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi.
Athletes who finish in top two positions will clinch slots in the team that will be picked Saturday to represent the country at the forthcoming World under 20 athletics championship due in Cali Colombia from 1st-6th August 2022.
