Pastor James Maina Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Church has broken his silence after attending a large prayer meeting at Nyayo Stadium on Saturday, led by American evangelist Benny Hinn.
Speaking during Sunday service at his church, Ng’ang’a said that the American-Israeli evangelist had a very difficult time showcasing his preaching gift, although he praised him for singing well.
“I was at that meeting, I sat there just to see how God was using him. I won’t speak right now, but there was something not right at some point. That man struggled. He struggled, he’s a singer, he sang songs, he sang a lot while I was there until he got there… and I knew this is where and here, I’m a person who counts,” Ng’ang’a said.
However, the pastor, who calls himself the Commander-in-Chief in the Lord’s army, said that he was not recognized as he deserved, as he was sidelined and kept at a distance in a small enclosure.
“I was placed there, the small enclosure was there. I was only mentioned by one person, ‘Kenya One is here’… but they were all there in front, look at how they were all [recognized]…” Ng’ang’a complained.
Pastor Ng’ang’a hinted that he left with the main lesson of focusing on his own affairs and not going where he is not invited.
“I just wished they could give me a guitar to play even two songs to see the deliverance that would happen there, but you see, Kenya cannot accept me. They accept Ugandans, they are the ones given a seat. I saw Pastor Ezekiel sitting near the door, he came out in front of me… even being told to do this [gesture in the air to greet people] was not there,” he said.
“I was just watching how God was using me and how he was also using him [Benny Hinn] I knew even I am there. Even if the Kenyan government doesn’t recognize me, the Heavenly government recognizes me,” he added.
