Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) has today opened a new branch in Mwea Town as part of its ongoing expansion strategy aimed at tapping into new economic sectors and bringing its services closer to customers.
The new branch, located at Nice Digital City in Wang’uru, Kirinyaga County, marks DTB’s first branch in the county and its 14th in the Mt. Kenya Region. Other branches in the region are spread across Kiambu, Murang’a, Nyeri, Embu, Meru, Laikipia, and Nyandarua counties.

The Mwea branch brings the total number of DTB branches in Kenya to 89 and 159 across the East African region, underscoring the bank’s commitment to regional growth and community-focused banking.
The new Mwea branch will offer a full suite of banking services, including personal and business banking, business loans, asset finance, personal unsecured loans, credit cards, digital loans, mortgage loans and insurance products. Customers will also enjoy access to DTB’s digital platforms for seamless account management and transactions, as well as in-branch support for tailored services.
