AFC Leopards, fresh from their victory over Gor Mahia in the Mashemeji Derby after a seven-year drought, will be seeking sweet revenge against Kakamega Homeboyz.
In their previous league encounter, Kakamega Homeboyz secured a 1-0 lead before the match was abandoned due to crowd trouble. The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) awarded the match to Homeboyz, and AFC Leopards also lost three points and were slapped with a sh 500,000 fine.
Additionally, AFC Leopards fans were banned from attending their team’s four consecutive home matches. Kakamega Homeboyz chairman Cleophas Shimanyula recently stated that his team is confident of defeating AFC Leopards, regardless of the match venue, even if it were a military base.

Ulinzi Stars, who eliminated the highly-rated Kenya Police team in their race to the quarter-finals is determined to continue their impressive run in the Mozzart bet cup.
On the other hand, Tusker who is the current FKF premier league leader is vying for a double by lifting the MozzartBet Cup and the League. They however face a tough challenge in Ulinzi who will be equally motivated to secure their place in the final.
