The Kenya Meteorological Department says the cold weather being experienced in the Highlands East of the Rift Valley, including Nairobi County, is expected to continue through the month of August.
In a statement signed by the Kenya Meteorological Service Director Dr David Gikungu, the month of August could see some days in which daytime temperatures will fall to below 18 degrees Celsius with nighttime temperatures falling to below 10 degrees Celsius in areas like Nyandarua County.
