Grace Msalame is a well-known Kenyan personality who has worked as a show host for some of the country’s top TV networks.
She became popular after appearing on television, and in order to capitalize on her large following, she founded Mali Living, a luxury fashion brand.
The fashion company sells high-end sunglasses, watches, bracelets, jewelry and scarves. It debuted in April 2023, with renowned Citizen TV news presenter Jeff Koinange serving as the brand ambassador.
During the launch, Msalame said that Mali Living will offer five luxury collections from major global manufacturers like as Seagull, Seiko and Hattori.
Msalame chose to start the company after experiencing difficulty finding luxury products that matched her needs.
The target demographic is anyone looking for conveniently available luxurious lifestyle products at a reasonable price.
“I created Mali to make luxury and incredible craftsmanship easily accessible to today’s woman and man of style,” she said.

To add a local flavor, several of the available collections have been branded with the term Mali, which is a Swahili expression for wealth.
On his part, Jeff liked being a part of the Mali Living enterprise.
“We are delighted to announce the new Mali Collection. Designed to be simple, elegant and sophisticated. Experience luxury and celebrate yourself,” he wrote.
The luxury industry is highly competitive, but the team feels they can take a significant share of the market due to product quality, pricing and strategy.
Msalame has now joined the expanding roster of media stars who also own businesses including Julie Gichuru, Alex Chamwada, Lang’ata MP Phelix Odiwour aka Jalang’o, Citizen TV news anchors and celebrity couple Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdalla.
