Makueni County urging farmers to use run-off water

Makueni County government officials are urging farmers to tap run off water for irrigation. The county has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dutch based firm Meta meta on the Green Roads for Water Initiative in a project that will see water channeled from the roads and directed to farms through trenches and terraces for irrigation.
