Veteran Bongo Movie actress Jackline Wolper has offered controversial advice to sisters who are chasing after marriage.
Wolper argues that for those who desire marriage, if they happen to realize that their husbands do not respect them and mistreat them, then they have every right to seek solace in a mature man.
She also advised that in marriage, if they discover their husband is an abuser, they should pray for their offspring not to inherit their father’s traits.
“My younger sister who has not yet entered into marriage, do not pray to God just to get married, pray for God to give you a husband who respects and honors you, don’t just pray to be married!”
“Pray that the husband you will get does not embarrass you every day. Also pray for his offspring, if you bear children with him, that they do not inherit his traits so that those children become your comfort. Pray for your womb, I am not joking, just reminding you,” advised the mother of two.
For those who have already entered into marriage, Wolper urged them not to torment themselves if they feel oppressed in their marriages.
She advised them to seek solace outside of marriage to find a “substitute father” without fearing what might happen if their legal spouse catches them.
She said if your husband catches you with someone else, then stay on the sidelines like a referee, let them fight and whoever wins, hold their hand and go with them because that is your rightful partner.
“But if you are already married and such a situation arises, it is forbidden to cry, pray to move on immediately within the marriage and have your extramarital affair so that you do not die from the stress of someone else’s child whom you found grown-up with a beard. Respect is key, if they meet let them fight, the winner remains with you,” Wolper advised.
