Ann Jepkoech Keter, a woman from Baringo County, has received a complimentary vacation after gaining online fame for her impressive knowledge of Geography.
The heartwarming gesture comes as a recognition of her viral video where she astutely explained geographical concepts to tourists.
In the widely circulated video, Keter, a mother of three, captivated viewers by elucidating topics such as the Tropic of Capricorn, the Tropic of Cancer, and the Equator with remarkable clarity.
She also demonstrated the geographical significance of moving north and south of the Equator, leaving many viewers in awe of her expertise.
Expressing her gratitude for the generous gift, Keter expressed delight at the acknowledgment of her efforts.
“I am glad for the present they presented to me. It is my pleasure to meet some guys from Expeditions Maasai Safaris. I’m happy because they recognised the work I’ve done here,” she said.
As a businesswoman along Lake Bogoria-Baringo road, she expressed her aspiration to serve as a tour leader, welcoming visitors from the Equator to explore the wonders of the North Rift region, including Lake Bogoria, Lake Baringo, and Lake Kamnarok.
