Arama,Njoki defy UDA wave in Nakuru to win their respective parliamentary seats

Nakuru Town West Member of parliament Samuel Arama and new entrant Irene Njoki overcame a strong wave of United Democratic Alliance [UDA] in Nakuru county to win their parliamentary seats during the just concluded August General Elections.

The two were the only legislators in the 11 constituencies within the county who clinched their positions on the ruling party Jubilee with the rest of the populous county was painted yellow with MPs-elect Jayne Kihara (Naivasha), Martha Wangari (Gilgil),…
