Renowned activist Boniface Mwangi has strongly criticized Prophet David Owuor, accusing him of causing the deaths of innocent Kenyans by brainwashing them through his staged miracles.
In a series of tweets, Mwangi claimed that after Owuor held mega crusades in major towns across the country, morgues would be very busy the next day.
He also alleged that some family members would discharge their loved ones from hospitals and take them to Owuor’s healing crusades, only for them to end up dying.
Some patients would stop taking medication after attending Owuor’s healing crusades, believing that they had been healed.

Mwangi’s statement comes after the recent exhumation of over 110 bodies at an 800-acre piece of land in Shakahola forest, Kilifi County, where controversial pastor Paul Mackenzie is suspected of indoctrinating his followers into fasting to death with the belief of ascending to heaven.
More than Thirty people have been rescued alive from the mass grave, while some 300 people who are linked to the pastor are still missing.
The Kenya Red Cross Society has reported that 112 of the missing individuals are aged below 18 years.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has declared the area a crime scene and labeled the deaths an act of genocide.
He has also stated that controversial pastor Paul Mackenzie deserves to rot in jail.
A multi-agency team led by security personnel and humanitarian organizations will carry out the exhumation of the bodies.
