The Jubilee Party has now cancelled nominations in all counties.

Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju said the party will release new dates for the nominations on Saturday.

He added that the cancellation was done in a bid to uphold fairness.

Nominations were initially called off in Narok, Kajiado, Kericho, Bomet, Uasin Gishu, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Nakuru, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Nandi, Embu, Kiambu, Murang’a, Nyandarua, Kirinyaga and Nyeri counties.

The nominations were marked by massive confusion, disorganization, delays and burning of ballot papers.

The Jubilee party further took blame for the chaos that took place during the failed nominations.

“We underestimated the voter turnout,” said Tuju.
