Opposition alliance NASA leader Raila Odinga has rejected the October 17 date set for the fresh presidential poll.

Raila says that the National Super Alliance was not consulted. Raila on Tuesday said that the IEBC set the date yet the thorny issues they raised about the polls body are yet to be addressed.

He insisted that NASA’s issues must be addressed first.

Among issues that the opposition NASA want addressed include personnel change at the IEBC Secretariat. After the Supreme Court judgment, NASA leaders including Raila, his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula demanded that six top IEBC officials fired.
