Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary nominee Kithure Kindiki has placed his net worth at about Ksh 694 million.
This was a Ksh 150 million increase compared to the Ksh 544 million fortune he declared in October 2022.
Kindiki made the declaration while speaking as he appeared before the National Assembly Committee on Appointments for vetting on Thursday.

While explaining how he made Ksh 150 million in two years, he said much of the income is from revenue from his law firm.
Although mentioning that he doesn’t practice law at the moment, Kindiki stated that the firm is currently being run by other people.
“First let me start by saying I have not benefitted from any improper business. I have not done any business with the government. Most of the increment is because of three things, legal fees which were pending… I also do small businesses,” he shared.
Kindiki went ahead to break down his net worth.
“I have two homes; one in Nairobi and one in Tharaka Nithi. I have land and building worth about Ksh 235 million. My two homes are worth Ksh 190 million
“I also have savings in saccos and banks and I also do legal practice and that is it. I have vehicles worth about Ksh 17 million,” he said.
