Celebrated Kenyan and broadcaster Yvonne Mumbi has graduated with PhD.
Ms. Mumbi, who also had a short stint at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation before moving to Nation FM graduated with a PhD in African Women Studies at the University of Nairobi last Friday.
“This was a very tough journey but I am glad that I went through it successfully. I endured three years of hard work but I can tell you that the last bit was the toughest,” Mumbi said.
She has sang songs such as Stop the War and Nchi Yetu and is the daughter of Nancy Wettstein, the founder and director of Pivot Point-Kenya beauty schools.
