Kenya’s leading e-commerce firm, Jumia, has partnered with leading electronics supplier to reward customers who shop on Jumia.

The lucky customers will be treated to a free screening of the highly acclaimed movie, The Avengers at Anga Imax Diamond Plaza. The exclusive screening will be done in conjunction with Anga iMax on 26th April before the movie is broadcast to the public.

This partnership came as Jumia held its annual mega Home Makeover. The Makeover Week saw Jumia offer high-quality home and kitchen appliances at discounts of up to 60 percent. The mega sale week also saw one lucky shopper walk away with a fee home makeover of up to Sh. 200,000.

“We are excited to partner with Saturn to reward our customers who shop on Jumia. Customers who shop for any Saturn products on our platform will get two free movie tickets each to the premiere of the much-anticipated premiere cocktail event on the 26th of this month”, said Jumia Public Relations Manager Pauline Masese.

Saturn is a German chain of electronics stores, which specializes in the sale of household appliances and home entertainment. Saturn launched in Kenya on Jumia a year ago, with home appliances like microwaves, refrigerators, cookers, and blenders. “We sell our range exclusively through Jumia, Given the growth of e-commerce in Kenya, this was a strategic decision we have made. so far we are pleased with customer engagement with the brand online”, said Saturn’s representative for Kenya Kenneth Kimutai.

Ms. Masese noted that the introduction of Saturn into the local market was in line with Jumia’s continued offering of top brands from world’s top ranking suppliers.

“We continue to introduce new brands like Saturn into the Kenyan market to sell quality products at affordable prices. Jumia currently offers up to 1.2M products on the website to choose from,” she said.
