Jacque Maribe’s Reaction After Her Photo Deeply Kissing Dennis Itumbi Went Viral

Following Jacque Maribe’s acquittal in the murder case of Monicah Kimani, a photo of her with digital strategist Dennis Itumbi has gone viral, sparking speculation about their relationship.

In the image, the two were seen hugging and deeply kissing each other. This has led to speculation among Kenyans, with some suggesting that Itumbi, who is close to the government, may have played a vital role in the case that ultimately saw Maribe found not guilty.

Additionally, rumors have circulated suggesting that the two may be romantically involved.

Responding to the rumors in an earlier post, media personality Jacque Maribe clarified her relationship with Itumbi, stating that they have never been romantically involved.

This comes after Maribe previously referred to Itumbi as her father’s son-in-law in a social media post, where she shared a photo of him with her father, captioning it: “Mr. Maribe @maribewamwangi and his son-in-law @dennisitumbi, no matter what anyone says, we remain family.”

In the past, the two have publicly shown affection for one another

The former Citizen TV anchor has been in and out of court for the past five years after she was accused in the murder case of Monica Kimani. She was the second accused in the case alongside the first accused, Jowie Irungu.

Monica’s body was found at her home, Lamuria Gardens Apartment, located off Dennis Pritt Road, Kilimani.

However, Maribe was released on Friday due to lack of evidence. In her judgment, Judge Grace Nzioka stated that the charges against Maribe were not properly framed.

“It is my opinion that the charge brought against the second accused was not correctly framed,” the judge said.

“As a result, the prosecution did not provide sufficient evidence to convict the second accused of the murder of Monica Nyawira Kimani on the night of September 19, 2018.”

Jowie and Jacque have been in the case since 2018, with the prosecution calling 35 witnesses.

Judge Nzioka found Jowie Irungu guilty of killing Monica Kimani.
