Content creator and influencer Georgina Njeri Njenga, a well-known figure in Kenya’s online sphere, has issued a sarcastic warning to a girl who allegedly stole her former partner’s affection.
On Friday, the ex-partner of actor Tyler Mbaya, popularly known as ‘Baha,’ posted a video showing her singing along to Alikiba and Marioo’s song ‘Sumu,’ particularly the part where the Bongo Flava stars sing about people meeting because they are not mountains.
“We are not mountains, we will meet. We are people, we will see each other. We are not mountains, we will meet. As humans, we will see each other,” Georgina sang along with Alikiba and Marioo.
In the video description, the mother of one hinted that the lyrics of the song were directed at the girl who took away her partner.
“To the girl who took my man…” she wrote.
However, she did not clarify which man she was referring to or who the girl who took him was.
This comes just days after the content creator revealed that she is still single but not looking. She disclosed this during an interview with journalist Nicholas Kioko after being asked about the relationship status of her ex-partner, Tyler Mbaya.
The mother of one noted that she cannot tell whether her co-parent, Tyler Mbaya, has moved on with his life, but she confirmed that she is alone and not seeking a partner.
“I don’t know if he has moved on, but I am in the market…I haven’t found a partner yet, but I’m not looking… I’m in the market to find myself and grow,” she said.
Georgina also explained that her recent post about dating an economically challenged man was misunderstood by people but clarified that she doesn’t mind growing with a man.
“It was actually a question. I believe in working hard, and I believe in growing with someone. I don’t believe that paying bills is a gender duty. Or that as a girl, I should have a man who sends me a certain amount. If necessary, do it out of love,” she said.
She further expressed her desire for her and her child’s father’s future together.
“Yes, but life happened, things happened, so we move on. One thing about life is life moves on, life continues, so even if I miss him, those are memories and at least Astara [her daughter] will say we were there.”
Georgina also revealed that the future plans for her relationship with Tyler are unknown but emphasized that the chapter is not entirely closed.
“I think I would say I don’t know and life. You can’t plan life. Today, I can plan that we won’t get back together and then we do, or I can say here we can’t get back together, then we do. Or I can say we can get back together, then we fail. But of course, destiny holds its place so maybe its place so maybe we get back together and then we don’t. One day.
Just like I have no plans for my life. I will plan but God holds the master key, so maybe yes, maybe no, but it’s something that I haven’t completely closed from my chapter,” Georgina said.
