Kenya has recorded an additional 711 cases of Covid-19 after 6,672 people were tested in the last 24 hours.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Health on Sunday, November 29, the country’s total caseload stood at 83,316.
Sadly, 7 patients have succumbed to the disease bringing the fatality to 1,452.
Of the positive cases, 692 are Kenyans and 19 are foreigners.
468 are male and 243 are female while the youngest case is one year old and the oldest is aged 92.
At the same time, 576 patients have recovered from the disease, 469 from the home-based care program, and 107 from hospitals around the country bringing the total number of recoveries to 54,975.
There are 1,262 patients admitted in various health facilities countrywide, while 7,806 are on home-based isolation and care.
68 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 42 of whom are on ventilatory support, and 24 on supplemental oxygen.
Another 96 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen, out of whom 73 are in the general wards 23 are in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).

Kirinyaga 9, Bungoma 9, Laikipia 8, Kakamega 7, Kajiado 6, Kwale 5, Homa Bay 5, Makueni 4, Kisii 2, Uasin Gishu 2, Migori 2, Nandi 1, Samburu 1, Kericho 1, Tharaka Nithi 1, Baringo 1, Taita Taveta 1, Lamu 1 and Bomet 1.
Distribution of the cases by sub-counties in Nairobi: the 190 cases are from Lang’ata 29, Westlands 22, Embakasi West 18, Starehe 13, Dagoretti North, and Kibra 12 cases each, Embakasi East and Roysambu 11 cases each.
Kasarani 10, Embakasi South and Makadara 8 cases each, Kamukunji and Mathare 7 cases each, Dagoretti South and Ruaraka 6 cases each, Embakasi Central and Embakasi North 5 cases each.
