Diamond Platinumz, a multi-award winning Bongo artist has revealed he was set to get married to a Burundian lady in September last year. Speaking during an interview with Wasafi FM on January 28, he claimed that wedding plans were at a progressive stage.
Everything; dowry payment and arrangements for the wedding had been finalized according to him after he had chosen to marry in secret.

Diamond revealed that the planned wedding never took place as he claimed he had to call it off all the planned arrangements since he learned the Burundian lady was not only very insecure, jealous, and also controlling. In this case, he was not ready to be committed to such kind of life.

Even though the marriage never went on as planned, Diamond claims the Burundian loved him genuinely after he reveals that he had started pursuing her in 2013 up to 2020 when she gave up on her interest.
