83 people have tested positive for Covid-19 from a sample size of 1,732 tested in the last 24 hours. This takes the total confirmed positive cases to 100,856.

Since the start of the pandemic, 1,188,683 samples have been tested for the virus across the country. From the positive cases, 61 are Kenyans while 22 are foreign nationals. 46 are males while 37 are females.

The youngest of the cases is a 6 – year – old child while the oldest is aged 88 years old.

The Ministry of Health announced that 29 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus. 13 are from various health facilities across the country while 16are from the Home – Based Isolation and Care program. The total recoveries now stand at 83, 936.

3 patients have succumbed to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative fatalities in the country at 1,766.

Currently, 464 patients are admitted in various health facilities countrywide, while 1,407 are on Home Based Isolation and Care. 23 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit ( ICU ), 12 of whom are on ventilatory support and 11 on supplemental oxygen.

Another 16 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen with 13 of them in the general wards across the country. 3 patients are in the High Dependency Unit.
