The World Health Organization (WHO) has welcomed the political declaration to be adopted by Member States during the High-level Meeting of the UN General Assembly on Global Road Safety.
The new declaration commits to cut road traffic deaths and injuries by 50% by 2030, a milestone for road safety and sustainable mobility.
The meeting took place on 30 June – 1 July 2022 under the theme “The 2030 horizon for road safety: securing a decade of action and delivery”.
