Kiambu Governor James Nyoro has pledged to utilise 700 acres of land secured from Del Monte in Thika to revamp manufacturing in a bid to make Thika town a city.
Speaking while launching his manifesto, Governor Nyoro also pledged to introduce black soldier flies that will help livestock farmers convert waste products into animal feeds.
Nyoro launched his manifesto that is anchored on six pillars including improved service delivery, economic empowerment and urbanization.
