Godfrey Kimutai, also known as Nifty Kim, has been making headlines recently after his previous Facebook posts went viral.
Online sleuths have shared posts in which Kim admits to being a father to three children with a teacher whom he allegedly neglected, proposing to Linet Toto instead.
Several social media users have claimed that Kim had a previous marriage and three children, but it is not clear if these posts were referencing his past or if the children he shared photos of on his Facebook account were relatives.
Regardless, the controversy surrounding Kim’s alleged past relationships and neglect of his children has caused a stir on social media.
Responding to one of the fans who asked if the kids were his, Kim said:
“Yes, they are my lovely kids and I had taken them to Mau forest tour.”
Another fan asked him about the kids’ mother’s whereabouts, and Kim told him:
“Don’t ask me about their mother.”
Commenting on one of his sons, Kim said he would be a manager like him. “…of course, just like his father, he would be a manager I suppose.”
On Tuesday, Photos surfaced on social media showing Geodfry Kimutai proposing to Bomet County Woman Representative Linet ‘Toto’ Chepkorir.
In the photos, the man is seen down on one knee with a ring in hand.
In the background is a décor of flowers in a heart shape and the words “Will you marry me?” can be seen in part.
The floor of the room is decorated with petals of white and red roses as well as candles leading up to where Godfrey is down one knee proposing.
In another photo, the two can be seen standing perhaps to pose for a photo, while Toto is holding a bouquet.
Toto has kept her life private ever since she was thrust into the limelight after flooring political bigwigs to clinch the UDA ticket to run for Woman Representative in Bomet County in 2022.
