An Eldoret man has sensationally claimed that he regularly sleeps with multiple women in a bid to avoid getting attacked by demons. What is even more astonishing is that his wife has permits him to do so.

Timothy Chesire says that in order to get a good night’s sleep, he must have a woman beside him, whether that woman is his wife or not.

The 28-year-old man from Kapseret in Uasin Gishu County, believes that ‘demonic’ attacks at night will strike him in the absence of a woman besides him at night.

He tells a local weekly paper, The Nairobian, that he has never spent a single day in any room in or outside the country without a woman.”

“I end up spending a lot of money on the women just because of this issue,” he says. He has been married for seven years. “My wife knows that I’m not doing it for fun, but for the safety of my life and that of the whole family.”
The father of three claims that the demon attacks started when his grandmother told him a story about his grandfather, a herder, who so loved him, that he promised to come and greet him after his death.
“And as a matter of fact, I saw him physically while herding and from that day, I have never slept alone,” says Timothy. He adds that he was the last born between the girls in his family. “It didn’t hurt me so much because we were sleeping in one room. I was young of course, but I still remember exactly what grandmother told me,” he says.
He cites August, 21 as oneday in which he was attacked. He claims that he met two demons dressed in bright red clothes at around 12.30am at Mti Mbao near Kapseret trading centre. The demons were walking in circles and didn’t bother him. He ran, but a pedestrian was mysteriously knocked on the spot by a car even though no vehicle was on site.
