Victoria Inyama: My Husband Beat Me Up When Manchester United Lost

Nollywood actress Victoria Inyama recently revealed a distressing aspect of her past marriage, shedding light on the disturbing connection between domestic violence and the performance of English Premier League club Manchester United.

In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Inyama bravely shared her harrowing experiences, recounting how her ex-husband, Godwin Okrim, directed his rage towards her whenever Manchester United lost a match.

The actress described the horrifying episodes of physical abuse she endured, highlighting that the beatings were a direct consequence of the football club’s poor performance.

“I hate Man Utd, ehn. The number of beatings wey dem beat me because Man United lost match ehn. Even up to today when there is a football match and Man U loses, I am like Thank God, today would have been a beating day. Even my son knows and would be laughing.” Inyama expressed her strong resentment towards Manchester United.

In yet another disturbing revelations, Inyama revealed that it was the presence of other women in their home, as her ex-husband allegedly brought girlfriends into their shared space.

Inyama recounted instances where these women not only entered their home but also had the audacity to dictate what she should cook.

In one particular incident, a girlfriend supposedly insisted that Inyama should prepare fish instead of meat, claiming it was a healthier option.

The interview took a darker turn when Inyama revealed the pervasive physical, psychological, and mental abuse she suffered during the marriage.

“My ex-husband was physically, mentally, and psychologically abusing me. When my husband hit me for the first time, I didn’t believe it, I was in shock.
