‘Tulizaa na Wewe,’ Pastor Ng’ang’a Tells His Church Congregants Who Asked for Support for Son to Join Form One

Pastor Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Centre, has criticized parents who invite him to fundraisers for their children joining Form 1 (first year of high school).

In a video circulating on social media, Pastor Ng’ang’a appeared publicly frustrated about being invited to fundraisers to raise money for students’ education.

“Someone called me. Do some people have madness? They have a fundraiser for a child going to Form 1. Were you with me when you gave birth? Take back what you contributed,” Pastor Ng’ang’a said.

In his perspective, he felt that these parents were foolish for failing to plan and relying on contributions. He issued a warning and questioned whether they were together when their children were born.

“Don’t bring that foolishness to me. Am I supposed to contribute for a child going to Form 1? This child has been in class one through eight. Where were we with you?” he added.

On social media, followers of his church were criticized for listening to such statements, with claims that they lacked a solid foundation.

Ashley Nicole stated that if she were one of his followers, she would stop giving offerings to Neno Evangelism.

“And still that follower will continue being a member, and many others will continue being members and attending the church and continue giving offerings,” said Ashley Nicole.

Rahema Feisal expressed dismay about how the preacher received money during Christmas and is now stingy when parents need encouragement.

“…And he asked for Christmas offerings and was given. Now he has turned into a miser,” Rahema Feisal commented.
