American super start Chris Brown is set to perform in Kenya for the first time on October 8. Brown will be performing live in Mombasa. However, fans have been complaining over the expensive ticket prices to the premium show.

Now, word has it that the organisers of the show are slashing the regular amount from Ksh 10, 000 to Ksh 6,000 only. The other tickets haven’t been reduced.

Initially, regular tickets were going for 10, 000 shillings, while VIP and VVIP will go for KSh 20,000 and KSh 50,000 respectively.

They also announced that Ali Kiba and Vanessa Mdee will be the official curtain raisers for the epic concert and said they will announce the Kenyan artist this week.

This will be the first visit to Kenya by the American singer whose real name Christopher Maurice.

The event, dubbed Music Festival, is being organised by Mombasa Rocks and will be an exclusive event that will see Mombasa being the second city to host international superstars, shifting the focus from Nairobi.
