Although many women do not support polygamous marriages, a new video featuring a middle-aged woman engaging in discussions about polygamy has sparked debates on social media.
In the widely circulated clip, a Nigerian lady known as Tinuke Vibes on Instagram stated that her future husband must be willing to marry more than one wife.
Addressing her prospective husband in the message, the woman claimed that if he cannot marry four wives, he cannot marry her at all.
According to the lady, she is a caring person, meaning her husband cannot marry just one wife, and she doesn’t mind being the second, third, or fourth wife.
Supporting her stance, she emphasized that her husband cannot be exclusive to her because the number of women is more than men in society.
She added that due to this perspective, she cannot be selfish to the extent of not allowing her man to have relationships with other women.
Offering advice to contemporary women, Tinuke urged them to change their mindset to promote peace when it comes to marriage, encouraging them always to allow their men to marry other wives.
She concluded by stating that women should follow her path and marry a wealthy and capable man.
